I was looking forward to my second year of growing "biggies" but bad luck came my way. A fella up in Canada was going to send me some seeds( handsome parents) but my money and packages got lost in the mail. I'm not mad though, #@%! happens and my wife couldn't be happier that I won't be talking about pumpkins all summer. Come to think of it,she was the one who took the package to the post office.Maybe she never put them in the post. Things are bad though,economically, I guess I'll grow tomatoes or something that we can eat instead. I was hoping to grow tomatoes in with the pumkin plants and kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Good luck to all of you with your pumpkins and God bless our troops overseas,may they all come home safe.

Within minutes I got an unexpected and overwealming responce. I posted a reply to another message and when I came back there were 3 replies from good people offering seeds for no cost whatsoever.Pumkin people are great.I'm very happy to be part of your community. A crazy community it is,yes,but the only one I would be part of. Thanks guys for all your support. I love you,man!

Speaking as a Canadian I know first hand that seeds got destroyed by customs, one of which I mailed to another American and I know as well the Dill's were having problems sending seed across the border. I have gotten the new stickers and have since had seed recieved across the border if your looking for good Canadian seed send an e-mail with your snail mail.

I wonder if your money and package got lost to the same person that mine did???? Bobbybou can you just e-mail me the first initial of the last name of the person so I can see if we had our money taken from the same person??? We can see if this is a habit for this person. My money taken no seeds sent is from Canada also.

I am glad you posted yours separate than my post.
I didn't get any response to my post except from you.
It made a difference. You got a lot of responses.

I wonder if there are other people that had the same thing happen to them.
They are probably receiving e-mails right now.
"Have you received your seeds yet?"

You guys are great. I have received a flurry of offers from complete strangers,from all over this free country, for pumpkin seeds. Most folks won't even accept the money for postage.I'm touched by the generosity of my fellow growers and want to thank each of you for your kind offers.Most of you are just good folks willing to help out and some of you are definately showing the first signs of Pumpkin Fever.
