I have talked the owner of my farm into giving up yet more ground for pumpkins but I want to plant some for eating as well at the moment I have always grown CROWN and BUTTERNUT what else do you really like?

isn't there a Sugar Pie varity ? I've always like the Acorn or Danish squash for eating.

One of the practices in this family is to use sweet potato stock to make pumpkin pie. Pumpkin custard or filling can be of any orange colored squash too. Libbys at .89 cents a can is not a bad choice either. Pumpkin pie can come from a number of directions.
