Does anybody have an opinion on a seed that would have a high probability of producing a fruit with good color and shape and still have very good potential for size. The 801.5 Stelts seems to have a tendency to through very nicely colored fruit. Is there a seed that is not very likely to exhibit a dill ring and yet still have a nice orange color? Looking for the perfect seed. I have searched the AGGC and found some with potential, just looking for a little more insight.

Since the 846 Calai is so hard to find now, I'm tossing around the possibility of some of it's progeny. Though some of these have exhibited dill rings, there have been some nice round ones.
I know what you mean though, the perfect pumpkin is hard to find. Have you looked at the 707 Toftness or the 310 Eisenhauer?

look at 421 Mongeon, 408.5 Jankford (Topsfield), 627 Pappas. Looking back on their lineage, you'll find many common ancestors (567 Mombert, most notably)
