Well, my patch is under water right now. Sucks!!! We've had over 3 inches of rain here since Monday morning with another 1 inch predicted for today. The system should be heading out of here by tomorrow morning..thank god..need the rain but not in buckets! Oh-well...hopefully you growers out east can use some cause its heading your way. Come on sunshine, need to finish tilling in the patch! I've rambled on enough..time to go..later.

Lots of rain in the Pacific Northwest. The forecast is for rain for the next five days! Impossible to do any soil work.

Beautiful here 75 today. Had some rain Monday, but nothing like Los Angles or San Dieago. They really had the rain.

The snow is all but gone. We still have six inches of frozen ground in the patch. That may thaw out today or tomorrow. We are trying to encourage spring to sprung but it has not yet. Soft ground and mud everwhere.

Having grown up in Ohio I can remember the seasons changing almost as if a switch had been thrown somewhere. Although often in the spring and sometimes in other seasons it seemed as if some joker was flicking it back and forth. Here in the Northwest the change is more gradual and differences less extreme. It's more like someone turning a faucet, at half a turn each day. We've had measurable rain each day for I don't know how long now. It will take at least a week of dry weather before any work can be done in the patch. I'm ready......any time now........waiting......

It hailed all over my patch a couple of hours ago. Didn't hurt anything as my pumpkins are still seed-shaped for a few more months.

Your report brings to mind I think it was a Tales from the Crypt where the bartender in the Bahamas says "Ah, another BEAUTIFUL sunset" of course, the disgruntled customer was supposed to strangle him, but that part was cut due to the graphic nature.
