No matter what we all think about the impending war with Iraq, I feel as though one thing is agreed upon. And that is the safe and speedy return of all the allied soldiers waiting to go into battle. Could we please take a moment and say a little something to who or whomever we believe in for the safety of all allied troops.
Thank you

Thanks, our daughter is a Marine Capt at Camp Fox, or she was still there two days ago. Between us and in-laws we've got 7 Marine Officers (5 are poised near Iraq, 1 stateside and 1 looking for terrorists in the Phillipines). Got a lot of neighbors/friends also deployed or dealing with homeland security as well. Each would prefer to see a "final" solution other than conflict but......

All of you know that I don't like the war idea, and this war idea. But if we are going to fight, let's hope everything tourns out all right and we win as fast as possible and with the lowest ever number of fallen soldiers in any war, and so they can return home soon and safe. And let's this terrible happenning bring the democracy and prosperity to the people of Irak as well, who I believe love the tyranny of Saddam as few as we do. I wish I could tell my grandgrandchildren in the porch of a nice countryhouse surrrounded by green fields about the time we were friendly talking in one old giant pumpkins webpage on the last war of History.
