I was wondering if any growers have use this in there Pumpkin patch. If you have used this, have you seen a big difference in your pumpkins growth or weight?

Also can someone indicated the use for which this material is intended? I sell a soil conditioner that is made from the same stuff (a clay similar to Bentonite) that is baked into pellets the size & shape of cat litter or Speedy Dry. but it's added to soil only to keep it loose & open. Not for it's nutrient value. Is this the same intent? - Steve

AZOMITE (A to Z Of Minerals Including Trace Elements) is sold basically as a suppliment covering a broad range of minerals/elements. it has a little of everything. not sure how similar it is to bentonite.
i used it in 2002, on the low end of the reccomended rate. i think i went about 1 pound per 10 square feet, or a little less. i don't directly attribute any success to it, but i think it has helped. i'll be using it again for sure.
oh, for more info than what i can give - www.azomite.com

i got it through a local organic fertilizer dealer. i'm lucky i have him here. i think i got it for 19 bucks a bag. if you get it delivered from somewhere, i think the shipping costs more than the azomite.
