Gordon, the 563 was female of my 837. Great seed that has produced some nice fruit. the plant throws HUGE leaves and a thick vine. good luck with it. Steve

gordon, fruit was dark orange and very much round. Best shaped/colored fruit I've seen at weighoffs. It did weigh 3% light when weighed. In aggc, under my name(steve Thorson) it has a picture of it. Steve

Hey Gordon, I know that seed! I used your 865 to pollinate it. That was a round blocky medium orange pumpkin with some cantalouping. The fruit got a blossom end split with the first frosts the third week of September. That was my 506 uow. Most of the seeds germinated inside the fruit as it sat for a couple weeks outside the Burdic Feed in Kent. (Now gone out of business after more than a century. The property condemned to make way for a commuter rail station for a train that runs two round trips a day and has no riders. They failed in their new location under new ownership.) So much for progress. I'm glad to know your considering it. Very rare seed, only 19 were salvaged. If I remember right it weighed pretty much right on the charts, my records for that season were lost when my truck was stolen last summer. That fruit is listed in the AGGC.
