Well, always the belgian girl asking... Where is the official european weight off? In Belgium, in Switzerland, in England or in Alaska? I have received many different informations. I need to know where my husband will have to make reservations for holidays in october... (I think my man will prefer to go to one American weight off, but if my AG will become very giant...we will pay a lot for bagages in excess...) Well, thanks in advance for your precious informations. Sophie I think everyone here appreciates your desire to figure out what to do. I'm also believe we feel somewhat helpless to know what to say or advise. If all else fails maybe you could weigh at a scale in your community and have the weight certified. Maybe another grower in your part of the world will come up with an even better idea. I believe your need will be seen and that someone will begin talking with you. Boily in Austraila just certified his pumpkin to his satisfaction. I know he had help and advisement from some who speak and share here. You could maybe talk to Boily or even Ken or John who own this web site.
You keep asking and talking here in hopes someone will be of some help. In the eyes of the world the hobby is in its infancy. We are glad you came here for help.
I wanted to say something so that you know people are seeing your post. We have international growers who talk here. I think one or more, of them, will also speak with you.
I would like to encourage you and your family to open a diary on this site to show your patch and your efforts to grow a huge American Giant Pumpkin. Your diary will be read and studied by many.
