I see many new growers looking for all the most proven seeds. And there are not many left out there. If you are willing to pay big bucks at an auction you can get one . But today there are so many unproven seeds with the best genetics in the world that are available at about the cost of a bubble pack that you should not be afraid to plant one. You never know you could be the one who grows the next 1000 pounder from a new seed stock. Look at Dave Larson 1156 lbs and Bruce Whittier 1186 lbs. So go for it.
