Anyone know where I can buy those little packets that absorb moisture for seed storage? I don't want to buy a lot of medicine bottles just to extract the packets.

Craft & hobby shops sell the same stuff loose in cans. Ask the Mrs. if there's a place like that around. My wife dried flowers in a large flat tin of the stuff last summer. I have recently "liberated" some. Watch how long you use it too. The best type is that which changes colors as it looses effectiveness, letting you know when it stops working. Steve

If the are exposed to the air they loose effectiveness and need recharge by heating them in the oven at I believe 250 degrees for an hour. Shannon

Jim, do you just throw the powdered milk packets in the seeds storage container or do you just dump the powder in? This sounds like it could be pretty messy. Does the milk help the pumpkins get big?;) joking! Ben
