I purchased one from PGPGA a few years back for around $100. This included straps and a lifting ring, and enables you to load giant pumpkins all by yourself. I think there's a photo on their site. Most welders could fashion the lifting ring for you, and I'm sure you can purchase nylon straps.

I took the material for the pumpkin ring to the vocational school welding class and they make me two of them.

I also own a PGPGA lifter; I'd recommend it to anyone.

I just looked at two and then a third on the PGPGA site. If money is no object in the amount, of $125.00, is not an issue, by all means purchase one. I can not beat that price if I count anything for my time and expense of making one. I really think I will save money purchasing this item.
