Pumpkin Growers Everywhere
Where can you find a Bobier 845? A Stelts 801? A Calai 869.5? A Pukos 805? A Daletas 790? A 914 Wentzell? and many, many more highly sought after seeds like these? At the PGVG 2nd annual seed auction!
We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual PGVG (Pacific Giant Vegetable Growers) giant pumpkin seed auction. Many thanks to Howard and Danny Dill for allowing the PGVG to hold this exciting event again.
Seed lots can be viewed on the clubs website at www.pgvg.org Its also posted on Bigpumpkins.com message board under general discussion, posted on Jan. 25th 2003.
The auction will begin with a two week slow (email bid) auction and conclude with a fast paced live auction in the Bigpumpkins.com chat room.
Email bids will be accepted beginning Feb. 1st or 2nd 2003 and will remain open until the live auction begins the weekend of Feb. 15th/16th in the BigPumpkins.com chat room.

Bids will be updated and posted nightly on the PGVG web site at PGVG.org Bids should be in whole dollar amounts only. The live auction will begin Saturday evening Feb. 15th at 5pm Pacific/ 8pm Eastern time for Seed lots 1-6 and 13-17. The live auction will continue Sunday evening Feb. 16th at 5pm Pacific/ 8pm Eastern time for seed lots 7-12 and 18-22. Successful bidders should send a check made out to PGVG Po Box 1194 Mulino, OR 97042 The seed lot will be sent immediately after receiving payment. The PGVG and all its members would like to thank you for supporting our club and hope these seeds help you all to achieve a new personal best!

This will be fun as the seeds are incredible and enough to go around. Here is the list........
Lot #1 The 1156 Larsen 2002 A cross of the 898 Knauss and the 1062 Rivard Weighed 25.6% heavy, and had 17" thick walls on the blossom end. Not too shabby from a 1st year grower.

All these mentioned seeds are wonderful whopper throwers, except for that crappy little 845 Bobier, it "sucks" and no one should bid on it as they will surley be dissapointed. I will "donate $25.00" for it just to help out a good cause.....
