FYI...Im not going to let this subject die! LOL I just wanted to let everyone know that it looks very positive for having Danny Dill in chat one of these nights. Im not sure if Howard will be with him or not. Just curious if everyone wants a featured grower chat this winter or not? I do not want to bring Danny or someone else here if not many are interested. I also e-mailed Alan Nesbitt and will let him know if he accepts. Thanks for your input, Mike

Alan Nesbitt and Danny Dill with Howard would be great. I think almost any grower would love to see Howard dill on. If it wasn't for this guy, none of us would be doing what where doing

Like I mentioned before I was thinking Danny or Howard would be too busy for the chat as they get swamped with seed request from around the globe. But.... If one or both would do it I think the chat room will be buzzzzzzing. Good luck Mike, Al

We have some great growers that hang around here. I would love to hear Jerry Rose, Alan Nesbitt, Joe Pukos, etc.

I would like to see Boily be a featured grower. He is doing a great job in a place that has not see the huge pumpkins yet. He could also help alot of growers that have to deal with the heat.

Joe Pukos was the first featured chatter, and he was very good. I'd like to hear Alan Nesbitt or Andy Wolf.

Mike:
I think you can be in charge of this subject (if you aren't already). Then, call or e-mail whoever you considerer well, and let us know the answer, we could eliminate the ones who say you they don't like to participate. Any grower who didn't do it in the past and didn't say don't want to come, with internet at home and pumpkin history over 1100 are fine I believe. Tim Bailey, Al Eaton, Steve Daletas, Rock Rivard, Kirk Mombert, Steve Handy, Todd Skinner, Jake van Kooten to mention some of them I think get both conditions.

This is an outstanding opportunity. Hope he will talk patch development and feeding management. I want to know what kind of mike he feeds them. :)

Definitely have Danny and/or Howard Dill. They've got so many years of growing experience and tons of experience with crossing different seeds.

Mike,

I contacted Alan Nesbitt and about 15 0ther "heavy hitters" last year. Alan had expressed some interest, but didn't think he was "worthy" of a celeb chat. Glad you talked him into it!

8pm on a fri or saturday night works best for Alan. I will be getting with ken, John, and Alan and working out the final date and time. There are many things going on bp.com these days.....more than I can keep track of so I'll try my best not to schedule at same time as something else...like an auction or something. Im still working on Danny Dill, I'll keep you popsted. Mike Frantz

Way to go Walcott,
Some people come to Big Pumpkin for different things everyday. Some growers put up all kinds of questions to ask others. But if growers would take the time to reply to a message such as this one. By you Walcott Pumpkin, as to getting a well known grower on a featured growers chat, we can have better heavy hitters and more wanting to do this.Plus we can all ask the Pro's are important questions
