very very delighted and honored to have ben do so well with my 762 seed. THough i knew his 845 bobier would kick all others in the end. Way to go BEN!! Now, just keep them together and get them officially weighed when the time comes!!

They are looking amazing I think you have to be the Aussie Kiwi champ by quite a long way. Best of luck and hope they hold together.

Hey Ben - Congrats and I hope that they stay together long enough for you to get them to the scales.
Is that a touch of Powdery Mildew on the Gerry plant?

Thanks everyone!!!! Its a very exciting time when there is a big one growing! The fruit will finish growing way before any weighoff. I will have to organise an accurate scale and some credible witnesses to have the record officially made. Plus have some press involved.....either TV or newspaper. Hopefully I will have 2-3 weeks left to get bigger. It will all be in the diary for everyone to see!!!!! I will hopefully weigh in the 762 as a new record and then beat that right away with the 845 Bobier fruit. They just have to hold together a few more weeks! 1000 pounds would be great, but already I'm happy :)

Congratulations Ben!!!!
If you need a local to authenticate I would be happy to be there. Actually will be there anyway.
Still don't know much about growing them big, but can count.
