Thought I would post this info as many of us growers use a lot of them.I bought 1000 eco-lite 5x10 # 00 self seal bubble mailers for 12 cents ea. (with shipping it was about 16 cents ea.)and split them with 5 other growers. I ordered from mailersco.com but I also found good prices at papermart.com and bargainsgalorestore.com Most require you to order 1 box minimum(250) but prices are lowered when you buy more. One of them offered additional discounts if you bought for $300.00 or more plus they could ship by freight not UPS. Might be something for growers clubs to look into( I'm sure some have ) At the Bargain Store you can order smaller quantities and shipping is figured on the final number..... anyway it's a lot less than buying a 10 or 15 pack at Staples or Wal-Mart and paying 40 cents each. I have found that many of the bubble packs are re-usable. Even if they do wear out past "the mailer stage", they can still be trimmed and cut to fit into a plain 5x7 envelope, creating a bubble mailer. It's cheaper to buy plain envelopes, and "bubble" them with bubble wrap or re-used bubble mailers!

Hey Al, thanks for the info!! I had never bothered to check the prices online, figuring shipping would offset any advantage. I had no idea prices would be that low; even buying 250 (after shipping) is about half the cost of what I pay at Staples. Bubble mailers always seem to be out of stock in my area, so an online source sounds like a great idea.
