In addition to my mainstay Bolster, I will be trying PROMAX WS. It's made by Becker/Underwood who markets it commercially under the trade name "BioGain".
We private lable this material. It is rich in cytokinins, vitamins, Amino acids, & humates. It's also 12% Potash, which is nice for pumpkins. It should prove useful early (with supplemental Phosphorous) & late to finish. It's so new I don't know the price yet. I should by tomorrow.

Seaweed extracts contain many of the hormones that higher plants use during growth. While all plants make their own hormones that they need to grow, we can also provide supplemental quantities to tilt growth in our favor. Some of these hormones have been synthesized & used with great success. But timing is absolutely critical. Different elements may influence seed germination, rooting, shoot growth, disease succeptability, fruit set & developement. Seaweed extracts are generally more gentle than synthesized materials, but since the ratios are predetermined, limit creativity a little bit.
