The following question and answer came from CNN's website - it must be due to the increasing mass of pumpkins being grown each year by AG growers!!!! ;-)
Question: Scientists now know the Earth's shape is changing. What does it look like now?

I'd venture to guess that a pumpkin shape means the poles are flattening slightly, and the equator is expanding.
