with some of the seeds given by the great members of this message board, i have created starter packs that i gave as christmas presents to my family and friends. i gave one to my dad, one to my neighbor , when i used to live at home, one to a friend of mine who is a truck driver and his wife is a vet tech, and one to my fiancee`s mom. so hopefully there will be s0ome more new growers coming out soon. i also printed out a small info sheet, and it did include this web site for some good info as well as the hort.net mailing list. hopefully no one w ho had given me seeds nor the owners of this site are ticked. just trying to spread the wealth.

p.s. walcott, my fiancee and i almost ended up in walcott, IA by a bad turn she took. imagine the chances if we had run into you :)

Sounds like you may get some family or friends growing. Finding seed is not the problem. It's honest work and involvement that is sometimes hard to come by these days.
...Good luck to you. You will have as much fun getting someone else playing with you as growing your own.

Dinc;....Congrats on the grades.I went back after a long summer vacation also.So I can relate to the difficulties you`re going thru.In 1978 I decided I wanted to be a doctor. So I did what anyone would. Divorced my wife of 10 years, moved to Hereford Texas, from Calif.,enrolled at West Texas State University as a bio-physics major, changed to bio-chem after 2 years, worked as a janitor to support my new 18 year old wife all while I carried 21 units each year.Ihad to take that many units because I needed to graduate as soon as possible. The reason? In 1978 I just wanted to be a bio- chemist, and I hadn`t been in any school in over 18 years. And I had just turned 36 years old in 1978 when I enrolled.Needless to say, the new 18 year old wife left me for her new 19 year old boyfriend &moved to Okla.Igot fired from janitoring flunked out of school and ran out of Texas. That was in 1983. It was all for the best, `cause now I bring in over 900K per annum and my new wife lets me keep 2 girlfriends. I live in a mansion in Beverly Hills right next to an indian casino and have a 20 acre patch with only the best seeds. The best thing of all? My ex 18 year old wife is 44, fat and washes windshields of moving cars with old newspapers for a dime. When she can catch them......Does anyone else think that this winter is exceptually longer than normal? hEY, THERE IS ONE BIT OF TRUTH IN THERE SOMEWHERE...booth.....keep up the grades dinc. HEEE-HAAAAWWWWWWW Come on sunshine..!
