we need a gpc weigh off site in northern or central
illinois in 2003. does any one know if the 2003 gpc sites
are already determined? and how i would go about gathering
interest in illinois pumpkin growing that will lead to
some other farms that hosted gpc weigh offs in the past to
host them once again. like Morton, IL or
Lockport, IL at cottonwood farms.

are there enough giant pumpkin growers in illinois or close to illinois that would compete if we had a gpc site?

i would also be interested in joining an illinois pumpkin
growers club if one is established. anyone have info or wants to form one let me know.

I agree that we need a GPC site in Illinois, if there is enough interest anyway. Our state needs to be brought up to par with the surrounding ones.

Iagree Il. needs a gpc site! I have a pumpkin patch 30 miles east of Quincy Il. on U.S. rt24 I would be honored to host a weigh off for Il. ( ANY INTREST? )

northern indiana

I live in North central Indiana. I don't know where I will go in the fall. Central Illinios would be closer for me than southern Indiana. Have you approached Heavy Hitter? He lives in Illinios doesn't he?

We have a weigh-off site in northern,Il. Its DidierFarms, near Buffalo Grove. It is an Independent site. If you were interested in bringing your pumpkins up, We might consider making it a GPC site. We will have a meeting at the farm soon, you will be welcome to attend and try to convice us on why the GPC would make this event better.
