I have room to grow just two plants. I have the following seed given to me. Have a 983.6 T.C. (946.5 PG 96)& (935 GL 97) 923 TC 01 (983.6 TC 00) & (723 B.B. 99) 802 U.O.W. T.C. 02 (723 Bobier 99) & (705 Stelts 99) and a 1097.8 T.C. 02 (705 Stelts 99) & (845 Bobier 00). ....Sure would like opinions here! No I can't find more ground. Can only grow on two this year.

....and the decision won't be getting any easier by planting time!! By then, you will probably have even more seeds to choose from. I'd start three plants, at least, for one of them just might not germinate.

I'd start as many as I could...then pick the best 6 ...put three a mound...and cull to the best fighter...Can't tell how not staring enough where ya have to make early choices in mound...Nothing worse then not having backups if ya got a double or flatvine working with only one plant ready!! Done that been there....not ever again!

You can't go wrong with the genetics in any of Tony's crosses. The first 3 have already been proven to grow big pumpkins and the 1097.8 with a cross of the 705 X 845 sounds like a winner. I saw the fruit at Altoona and it was a beauty. There is a picture of it in my diary section. Best of luck.

Guys and gals. I promise you to be there when the roll is called up yonder next October. I have worked my butt off building a patch that should fall well within the pride and joy of any good grower.
Actually what happened was I saw to sunrises one morning last August. The one made its usual pass over the East to Western sunset while the other just laid there and did'nt move.
That got my investigative imagination stirred. I jumpped into my wheels and drove their being able to see whatever it was on the tops of all hills leading East from my home.
When I finally arrived it turned out to be nothing other than the largest of three AG's Tony was growing.
He gave me some seed and a charge of responsibility. I took it and ran. Then I found this site. That is what is wrong with me. ]:o)
I do appreciate your responses.
