If I cross a seed from an 846 Calai (F) X 845 Bobier (M) with A reverse cross of 845 Bobier (M) X 846 Calai (F) what are the predominate genes going to be? I plan on crossing each plant with the other and then selfing the offspring the following year. I am trying to bring out the best qualities of both parents. Has anyone else tried this and what were the results??? Oh and thanks for the seeds Craig!

I don't think any sex genes predominates in cucurbitas crosses, it should be a question on luck whether the daughter get the best or bad genetic from the mother and the father, and the only way to find it out is to plant many seeds.......Don
