Here is something to think about:

455.4 Andrews 00- Great Seed, grew the 2002 BP.COM grew some large fruit in the past two years including 816 Pistono, 954 Pistono, 537 Hildebrandt, 617 andrews, and many others ( I personally like this seed for the Competition, but you are the people and it is YOUR choice!)

707 Toftness- What can I say, great overall cross and has done well in its first year

310 Eisenhaur- 846 x self, grew one in the 900 lb. range for Don and another for him in the 700 lb. range

803.4 Davies- 6.42 % over the charts, great cross: 845 bobier 00 x 922.5 emmons, plus this great guy has offered an 845 Bobier 00 for the winner of the contest!!! Thanks Steve!!

804 Carlson- 846 x self, enough said!!!!!!

537 Hildebrandt- "Fatback", great looking fruit, offspring from the 455 andrews

541 Hopkins- 15% heavy!!!!!!!!!!! great cross- 805 pukos x 845 bobier 00

840 Desrosiers- Ken is Da Man!!!!!!!!!!! 805 pukos x self

Any more suggestions????????????

How about the 845 Nesbitt 01 (846 Calai 99 x    723 Bobier 99) its got the same great genetics as the 707 Toftness 01 and on top of that it grew the 1076.5 Werner 02!! Seeds were also available on this site last season and I think I heard a rumor that more were going to be available this year.

Any respectable seed with known prodigny is fine with me. Make sure the crosses are pure, and remember you need about 200 seeds for everyone to participate...

We could end up using 2 or 3 different seeds, and have several competitions. It may be hard for everyone to grow the same seed.
