I plan on growing 6 plants. Right now I'm thinking: 845Bobier,951Castellucci,1092Burke,1260Weir,494Neuville*and ?. Crosses:1260X951(both ways);845(f)X1260(m);1092(f)X845(m)(on paper-hopefully an improvement on the 805Pukos);494(f)X1260(m)(hope offspring go very heavy and 50/50 green or orange); not sure on the 6th plant yet. Heck, the dust has hardly settled on my plot from this past year, no sense wasting time on it now with 6 months to go.Steve

Hey, Kenny B. if you end up with a cross of 1260 X 845, i will be very interested in that cross as well as all the others.....i've found that additional crosses can be kept and tried next season if the fruit that is to be culled is allowed to get to beachball size, thereby allowing for more mature seeds. one man's junk...

Looking into 804 Carlson, 783 Daletas, 310 Eisenhauer. I have 7 spots to fill....those three will get a spot. Also want to try my 40* est Neuville again, and grow the 762 x 845 cross boily doesn down in australia. So thats down to two spots....also have an 801 clone going....then there are about 10 other seeds i want to try!! it isnt going to be easy!

I didn't get a 845 yet either, nor a 846 or 723. But........I got a nice seed that changes my old plans, and that is the 651 Gadbberry, Thank you Gerry, it seems like you made a nice hyerarchy tree for three years to get this seed. Your confidence has persuaded me to give it a try. Oher ones planning on are: 1101 van Kooten, 658, 996.5 Emmons, 1026 Holland, 869.5, 1036 Kline, 990 Hebb, 875 Pugh, 1062, 1178 Rivard, 713, 1055 Kurkowski, 980 Kurilich, 837 Thorson, 1024, 646, 443 Pukos, 547 Armstrong...
