I planned on doing one last summer, models would be amateur "girl next door" types. Only thing that held me back was the price of having them printed up. I was hoping to sell them for $13-$16 each, but most places want more than that to print them, and I must pay my models. If anyone knows a place that'll print up cheap (but with quality), let me know.

Hey! Sounds great kilrpumpkins! A number of "girl next door" types posing outdoors alongside of a giant pumpkin would make a great calendar! Just look at the success that Sports Illustrated had with their Swimsuit Edition! And they didn't even have their gals posing next to any pumpkins!

I'll ignore that comment from LIPumpkin, what would the way I look have to do with the way my neighbor looks? Believe me, I doubt she'll ever pose, but meddlin with my neighbor would be a violation of the pure food act! I'm an accomplished photographer, and all models would be in swimsuits,(tastefully done),(mighty fine, to boot!), and in some of the finest pumpkin patches in the world! Anyone that wants to submit their wives, girlfriends, would be cheerfully accepted! Stelts is already waiting for me to bring the girls, so if you guys can't find me a decent cheap printer, than shut the %^&* up!

The scenes will probably have to be laid out for each picture. And I was just thinking that for December that if one of the growers could store away three nice pumpkins for a month or two, that a scene could be shot in the snow with a sparsely clad lass standing next giant pumpkin snowman? The stored pumpkins would be placed on top of each other to form the snowman.

As a former Snap On Tool Owner/Dealer I am sorry to report that this Pumpkin Gal Calendar is most likely a whim of the good 'ol American Imagination! The only thing I can say for absolute certain is that the "Battle Axes" that stopped the great tool company of America did not look anything like the lovelies we had on our calendars.

You are not permitted to find and picture a beautiful lady because it belittles the "Battle Axes".

Taking advantage of the poor models to the tune of thousands of dollars in posing fees was the claim of the Battle Axes.

They could not stop the web, Hollywood or the endless support for roadside porn so they attacked all else.

There will be no pumpkin gal calendar. It would cost thousands just to fight the "Battle Axes".

docgipe, I have a satellite dish hooked up to my tv. And I like to watch the History Channel. I have watched a number of the History Channel's shows on how things were for men who fought back in WWII. And docgipe all I got to say is that pinup girls have been an american way of life for over fifty years. I can just see it all now. For May I would like to see a picture of a young woman in a hot pink bikini posing in a cloche. The shot could be taken with the young woman laying down on her side with her elbow resting on the soil and her head laying against the palm of her hand. The inside of the cloche should be warm enough for her. And as to her laying herself down on dirt, maybe she could just pretend that it was just sand and she was out on a beach someplace? Anyway the lighting would have to be perfect. And the whole idea of this shot would be to show the almost naked beauty of a young woman, and the raw, natural beauty of a young pumpkin plant which she would also be posing next to.

When I posted my statement I was LMAO . I can't take a joke, shoot Hoss all I do is horse around & I LUV it when it comes back.
