Does anyone know how the 945 Pistono, 940 Kurilich, and the 912 Pat Papez did this year?

I grew the 940 Kurilich- it split at the stem. Rot detected on 9/11, estimated weight 912. I was rather disappointed- less fertilizer next year. I plan on growing it again. ---Kurt

Well after Kurts post I will consider it. Kurt did your Pumpkin stop growing early.

No, it did not. It grew right up to the week before the rot was detected- that's when I assume the crack went all the way through. I don't have my data here- I'll post it later.

hmmm.....sounds Like Mr. Loos probably had a pumpkin over 1000 pounds had it been weighed....the infamous 940 Kurilich was about 240 pounds over the chart if I remember right...just a small portion of that 240 pounds passed along.... I bet that 912 was nice and thick when cut open wasnt it? Can I beg for some of those 912 est seeds?
