add 724 Carlson 02, 846 Calai x self (same plant as 804). The 1337 and 1058 houghton might be something as well, both fruit have the opposite cross...each was over 11% heavy (1058 was over 14% heavy).

Steve it seems that a 846.0 Calai 1999 Self pollinated crosses have done well. I have never had thepreasure to grow an 846 Calai but I did grow 826,5 Walter 2001 which was a 846x974 the skin seams to be more elastic prevent splits than other seeds I've grown.

I crossed my Red Rubbery 644# with the long and lovely 1230# Daletas last season so I am hoping for a long and red one next season!

seriously...if someone wants orange and heavy....next best thing to the 846 calai....could very well be the 783 Daletas 2000 (500 Hebb x 801 stelts). The 1090 Fisher (from 783) was 17% heavy or so.....not sure how the color was, there is no picture of it anywhere...be nice if there was...would really like to see the shape and color that seed throws. (benface! can you help me out on this? were you at canby? i think that is where the 1090 was weighed.)

Just a recap, Steve Daletas had 4 seeds produce 1000lbrs the 1230, 1016, 783, 790, and then 2 more seeds produce 900lbers the 961 and 1075. Hmm he has some goooood seeds. Ben
Am I missing any?

What about the 716? It is the same cross as the 790, no one planted it though.

The 707Toftness'01 is a cross between the 846Calais1999 x 723Bobier1999. I believe that Hoppy from this site grew a 705 from this plant.

Benn Hebb had a really good cross this year, it had 875 Dill, in it, that's all i remember, but it was a good cross. I was talking to Nic Welty about it i'll see if he remembers. tom
P.S. if ur going for thick walls my 123.2 was estimated at 94 lbs.
