i have seeds drying out of my uncle jerry's pumpkin that he gave me and some have white tops on them what is that?

it probably is the seed coat...it will dry and you can peel it away.

I've seen seeds with white tips, its as though they were not mature, but I think it's just the shell that didn't mature. The seed inside should be fine....unless Jerry bit them. :)

hello killer,bruiser is right i have a few every year that are not mature,during the winter i sort out and i put mine in the garbage.

hello killer, by no means should you put any of jerrys seed in the garbage,mine are commercial seed, that i pitch out.
