Use insecticide, fungicide, and prevent any chance of frost!

Tim, Were the leaves covered in by a greyish powdery substance beofre they died? Or did they just wither quickly to brown?

The leaves died kind of normal. I always spray with fungicide and insecticide. I thought maybe they might be something to put on the plant to lengthen the leaf longevity.
Thanks

Besides the tipical deseases that can low down the normal length of life for a pumpkin leaf, the correct soil balance has a fundamental importance. If you haven't get a pH near 7 or you have little of Ca, Mg, K, P, or in minor quantities: Fe, B, Mn, Co, etc. the leaves will last shorter. Do a soil and a leaf analysis could be a great idea.
