Ok, so you have two pollinators, take Bill Bobier for instance- let's say he is growing an 846 Calai and has a female, if he pollinated have of the ovary with a 723 and the other half with a 845, would the male pollinators take turn in showing certain characteristics???? and if it got to be say 987 pounds could he call it the 987 bobier 846x723 and also the 987 bobier 846x845?????? Thanks, Steve

you are thinking way too much...mulitple pollinaters, usually a female pollinated with male(s) from two or more different plants. The outcome of hte offspring will be varied depending how much pollen from each male was transferred to the female. It would be just the 987 Bobier x multiple pollinaters(846 cala and 723 bobier). Thats it.

I feel kinda dumb....I just grabbed any old male blossem and went at the female with it....all my plants this year were started from seed from a pumpkin I grew last year (192 pounds)...and those seed from a pumpkin I grew the year before (134 pounds) and it was grown from the Atlantic giant seeds I bought from Veseys seeds. Soooo....until I met you guys and gals...I did not even think to start loads of seeds and only set out the most vigorous growers...I set out everything...no wonder I only got a 140 1/2 pounder this year....some dumb eh??? Anyhow,...I know better now. Hopefully I will have some new stock seed to start next year. I have my bubble packs bought and will soon be sending them to at least a couple of you who have said they have seeds for me. Thanks again for all the help.
