Thank you for the thought, but it was simply fortunate. It seemed that the other "heavy hitters" had a worse season than me!! Yet...I'll take the two second place finishes this year and hope for bigger fruit next year.

Let me add my congratulations to Stan, also! We were able to make it out to the Des Moines weigh off and meet Stan, as well as many of the other fine members of of PNWGPG....Joel Holland, Geneva Emmons, Chris Michalek, Steve & Leslie, Geoff (who had the winning pumpkin), Lincoln,....I'm sorry I can't remember all the names...but what a great group of folks willing to help out a potential newbie!!
