Can I spray this on my vegetables to keep away insects without having to harm myself or my family...or will it change the soil dramatically... Thanks, Steve

i haven't had much luck with garlic juica as an insect repelant but mixed with hot peppers and some sulfer powder makes a fair deer/rabbit repelant ray a. from the group used 1 cup amonia,1 cup dish soap,1 can beer,1 can coke apply 1 part mix to 20 parts water you can also add chewing tobbaco juice for some added insects or a liquid fertilizer to debug and feed

hello steve we all worry about our familys health,there is no way you can raise pumpkins and be able to compete with the big dogs with out using some type of insecticide are fungicide,even fertilizers can be harmful to you and your family,here is a company that may be able to help you harmony farm supply 707-823-1734 it sounds like you need to go organic,peaceful valley farm supply,888-784-1722,just remember steve always wear eye protection-gloves and long sleeve shirt,when ever you use fungicides,insecticides,fertilizers,just remember nothing is worth doing if it could be harmful to your family.

The only organic thing that I have tried this year on one of my plants that seemed to work well was Neem oil. The plant had no sign of powdered mildew and very little insect damage compaired to the rest of the plants. Note did use merrit in the spring on the hole patch.
I think if a grower is is not working and has all day to baby sit one or two plants he or she could grow ag's organticly with some success.
In my patch Neem oil will be use as a fungicide next season. I'm not totally convinced on how well it works as a insecticide will have to do more testing.
