What in the heck is going on in NY? I can't believe that someone would waltze up to your garage, knife you pumpkin and steal all of the seeds. What kind of person/grower do such a thing?!! Outrageous!!
BTW: The diary photos of the cops photographing the scene of the crime is priceless.

the really sad thing is that it was probably some experienced grower.

I just can't understand how anyone could even consider doing such a crime! There's only 1 person I know of in New York who could do such a thing, for profit. May the truth all come out in the wash! Sorry to hear the bad news! I'd shoot the %%$^&**! kilr

I just looked at the pictures. It amazes me why someone would go to that amount of trouble to get seeds, when for less then a dollar postage, you can get free seeds from any number of great people around here. I'm really sorry for your loss pumpkinbrat, I know how P--- off I'd be.

Oh well, I hope the guy chokes on them seeds, and I hope you grow a 1000 pounder next year, Brat. What goes around comes around. Who was it that had a coin stuck in one of their pumpkins earlier? That was another weird one.

People will steal anything for a buck. Next year I think I would cut a hole im the bottom...remove the seeds and then set a big steal trap in it..
Sorry to hear that brat..

Unbelievable! I asked Brat for some seeds in September when he posted about his beauties. He was so generous to offer me seeds for nothing in return! So how could someone do this to him?? That criminal can´t sell the seeds - the cross will point the way to the stolen seeds. Using all the seeds in 2003 by him(her?)self, he(she) might have a nice pumpkin but will never be able to talk about origins. That crime was for nothing and will hopefully take that person into a lot of trouble! Really sorry to see something like this, Brat.

What a shame. Don't let one stupid person ruin your hobby. Here's hoping the jerk gets caught.
