Thanks for all your response to my "How did you do this year" post. The crowd here at BigPumpkins.com is really starting to weigh alot of heavy pumpkins....I think it's great. I was tickled when I read the post by Quinn that he had some problems but he managed to go 1076 and win first at Canfield. Congrats Quinn...those are the problems I'd like to have;) If I ever beat Stelts, Calai, Rose, etc at Canfield I think I would have a heart attack right on the stage...and die happy! Anyway, one more quick question. I was wondering how many among us were State Champs? I know Ken Derosiers is now champ in CT (and so was David Garrell for a while) and that KILR is squash champ in PA....is there anyone else who is a regular here? I'm predicting Bryan Saylor (Bruiser) will be the new VA state champ next year......for about five minutes until they weight my pumpkin! ;)

My now 17 year old Daughter, Tiffany set the very first recorded record for the State of Oklahoma this year. I know it was small by most standards, 317.6 lbs, but it is a start and I am very proud of her for doing it. Thomas

The Pumpkinguru is the state champ of Oregon.
Way to go Tiff. I had a 317 pounder myself this year. Just need another 800 lbs and I'll have the state record. Sha! Grow 'em BIG!
