I don't know 'bout the rest of you but my 572.8 pounder is still in the back of my truck as of October 5th after the Topsfield Fair weigh off. So many people have asked to "stop by" their event that I decided to just leave it in the truck till Halloween! Oh ya, I also can't gather enough people every time I would have needed to load it in and out of my truck. It makes one hell of a conversation piece around town. People now know more about my pumpkin than I actually do. This weekend it's going to a pumpkin carving demonstration and finally on the 26th it will be sculpted at a haunted house I put on in my town for the kids for the towns Trick or Treating events.

I had my 555 on the truck for a week, then unloaded it to pick up my 683, which stayed on the truck for the following week. It stayed there mainly due to the bad weather and the difficulty in rounding up enough people to unload it, but it was really fun driving around town visiting friends with it. We even visited a local pumpkin patch (at a farmer's market) to buy a normal pumpkin, which attracted quite a bit of attention! lots of fun!
