As important a question is: Does someone have plans: "How to Build a Pumpkin Boat"? Noah had God. We need one! To a dern fool like me how it was done is more interesting than the fact it moved on water.

if you haven't cut into it yet, then put it in the water and see which way it floats, then stick with that oreintation. if you've already got a hole,,, well i think you can figure that one out.
on the picture i saw of a pumpkin boat, there was a small wood frame off the back with a small electric trolling motor, don't know where the battery was- i'd guess in bottom middle of the pumpke would be the most stable place.

Check out the link to NHGPGA and you can see the boats from last year. There are a whole bunch pictured there. Anyone on this site heading up to the event? I'll be there.
