Tonight on the FOX TV Network, Kirk Mombert and his 1173#
winning pumpkin at Half Moon Bay were shown in all their "glory"! Great exposure for our sport! They were even shown on our local NBC affiliate this evening.

Regarding TV coverage...Todays on the CBS morning show they had a decent segment about AG's which featured Tom Borchard from Salinas, CA, his experience growing and showing these things as well. They included some video from HMB and showed Tom's entry as well as Kirk's 1173. Big improvement over the 7 second flash Letterman gave 1131 Checkon in 1999.

Hay Gang, the Spokesman Review today has a COOL picture of Kirk sitting on his "throne" his 1173 pound pumpkin at Half Moon! I will try and scan it and post it in the photo gallery. Nice job Kirk you rule!!!!
