Unfortunately I was not able to pick up my pumpkin from the State Fair so as I speak it probably being dismembered and disposed of in a nearby dumpster. Sorry to those who asked for seeds...I would've liked to have some myself:)

Dismembered? Dumpster? What kind of fair was that...sounds like a cruel joke.

Watch for 637 seeds to pop up from some other person, I don't think the seeds will make it to the dumpster. Would think someone would keep the seeds from it. Ken

I mistaken looked at a letter my wife received for an Arts/Crafts event which said pickup time was 9am - 6pm on Sunday. I got up there around noon and that's when I realized my mistake. The actual pickup time is after 8PM on this same Sunday (which I think is a little inconsiderate for those of us who have to travel a couple of hours each way to Richmond but that is a complaint for another day). I asked if I could get in to check my pumpkin thinking it may already be rotten and I could retreive the seeds but I was told I would have to pay admission to do this. I thought that was a little ridiculous because I had my claim check and offered to leave ID at the gate. I wasn't going to give them 17.95 to go check my pumpkin and come back out so I left. I was cordial to them but as far as I'm concerned the Virginia State Fair can bite my butt. I'll just go to a different weighoff next year.

OH Brent! - That really sucks man. I for one really wanted to get a seed from you.
Do you really think they dumped it? I bet some one took it. Man I really hope Ken is right and some of your seeds show up. My condolences. Ceis
