...daylight was just about gone as I arrived home a little later than usual this evening. The dim light from the barn perfectly backlit the sillouette of the skunk eyeballing my arrival. I slid in and out quickly grabbing the packing blanky I tuck Woody in with every nite. With flashlight in hand I headed for the patch. Stepping over the woodchuck barrier, my sneaker caught the mesh deer fencing and ripped down a 10' section. Made headway towards my prize AG specimen, only to see peculiar earthen shadows around the styrofoam base, highlighted by the pencil beams of my light! Who in their right mind would probe the depths of subterranean mother earth with their bare digits knowing full well a sabre toothed millipede or other equally nefarious predator could be lurking ? ...there was nobody home...which only goes to prove how crazy we are about our hobby !!! Thank goodness we're almost there ! Good luck all. Duff

Hey Duff,
Fair prep is in full effect! The carnival rides are starting to pile up in the parking lot. Every morning on my drive into work I chuck on more day up closer to the Topsfield Fair! See ya next Friday evening for the start of the unloading.
