Would someone please turn off the heater in the central valley of CA. Record temp of 104 today. 90 at 7:00 and 76 at 8:45. My two big pumpkins have not grown any in about a week. It is supposed to cool off Fri. I hope so/

My pumpkins have stopped too. They aren,t very big. But Im happy. Haven,t had much time the last 3 weeks to take care of them the way they should be. I brought my Father home so he could pass away at home with his family here to take care of him. He passed away Sat eve with my brother and I at his side. This was his wish to be at home when the Lord called him home . He is at peace .

My condolences to you. The biggest fan of my pumpkin, our 78 years old neighbour, died some days ago while working in the garden right next to the pumpkin patch.
It´s always a big loss to see our people going but also a peace of mind to know they didn´t need to suffer, to be away from their families, to die lonely at heart. The Lord takes special care for them, that´s good to know in these moments.
