Last summer at the Ohio picnic, I learned that some growers have frozen their tomato entries to keep them for weigh-off day. After learning this had been done, I froze All my best tomatoes, as well as a 34# and a 32# muskmelon. I have just learned today, that the G.P.C. has come down with a ruling that states "no frozen or mushy" fruits will be accepted. What poor timing on the part of the G.P.C.! Nothing like getting shot out of the water before the battle begins! Anyone else in this boat?

yea, everything in my patch froze last night! Actually the pumpkins themselves are fine but the plants are dead. No tomatoes, muskmellons, watermelons or the like to go anyway.
