The soft spot on Neal kept spreading, and there was a hole right there that went inside. The final weight was light at 673 lbs. The vine was as big as a beer can at the stem. Would of loved to take this one to Nekoosa for the weighoff, but it wasn't to be. Oh well, I'm proud of it and had a lot of fun growing it, and I'm glad to share it with you people. You all really add to the fun of this hobby. Thanks, Randoooo.

2002 will be remembered as "The Year of the Perforation"! Cracks, splits and holes have done many a grower "in" this summer. My heart goes out to you!

Thanks alot, Stan. Ben, yes I have seeds. They are big and white. For your info, the cross on this pumpkin was 940 Mombert '00 x 962 Willemse. Wanna grow one?

Pappy, thanks for the condolence, pal. I still have a very nice pkn on the 440 Kilbert that just may have a chance to outweigh my 673. I just pray I can ride it out now. Hope to make you proud, Kilr!
