As a father/son cub scout project, the Kilbert 440# was planted by 35 cub scouts and their parents this season.(Weigh-off is Sept. 28th.)Preliminary results are promising! These seeds were also given away freely on this site, and personally. I gather that Randoo of Wis., has one estimated at 654#. Anyone else out there have something on the 440#? (David G., Please report back!) More importantly, does anyone out there plan on planting it next year? If not, please return the seeds to me!
Thanks!

Good growth on the fruit....the 440 does look promising...whats the biggest of the cub scouts?? anyone pop something over 700?? just wondering, randoo's 654 est is crossed with the 731 stucker...talk about inbreeding!!

Hey Kilr.....the 440 you gave to me didn't germinate. It just got mushy, and kinda died on me.......the only thing I had that germinated this year was the 378 Huffer 01.
I'm with Jeff tho.....if you wanna send another my way i'll gladly give it another try next year fer sure!!

Case,

Best I know of (so far), is currently estimated at 770-780#, and SLOWLY growing. Big, and round, and ORANGE! Starting to cantelope, so it may be close to the end. Jeff and Cuz, I'll hold you some 440 seeds. What else are friends for?

What about your 673, is anybody else growing that. The one I have is almost red in color, and long.

Rainy,

I've got one that's close to 600#, those long "torpedo shaped" pumpkins are Stelt's favorite! What's yours tape out to?
