What meathod of measurement have you found to be more accurate.........Circumference, or Over The Top?
Right now my pumpkin measures 75"ss, 83"sb, 110"cir.
Based on these measurements there is a weight difference of 71 pounds between the two methods. The pumpkin is pretty tall, and fairly uniformly round, and is starting to cantalope.
Any opinions based on experience?

The OTT method is more accurate for weight estimates. The circumference methods is best suited for gauging weight gain from week to week. Here's a link from the message board about it, there are many more also...

Hi David, the OTT definitely will give you a more accurate idea of the weight because it factors in some of the abnormalities of the pumpkin. However as you know some fruit weigh heavy and some light. So the measurement is purely a guideline to give you an idea of where you're at. Jim
