What used to be my best pumpkins has slowed to about an inch over the past week. Should I take it off the vine, or leave it on as long as possable. It's about 275 #. My best now is still growing about 10 # a day and has an outside chance at 400 #. |

i think if it were me, i would leave it on as long as it is not on the same primary vine... |

Leave it on. It doesn't take long for the seeds to germinate inside the pumpkin once you cut it. |
