What used to be my best pumpkins has slowed to about an inch over the past week. Should I take it off the vine, or leave it on as long as possable. It's about 275 #. My best now is still growing about 10 # a day and has an outside chance at 400 #.

i think if it were me, i would leave it on as long as it is not on the same primary vine...

Leave it on. It doesn't take long for the seeds to germinate inside the pumpkin once you cut it.
