Which question do I answer first? 1)You can collect seeds from a hybrid pumpkin just as you would any other pumpkin. 2)The Prizewinner Hybrid is a licensed cross that was developed over many years and is not for public knowledge. 3)If you did collect the seeds from your prizewinners, they will grow(some people think that seed from a hybrid are infertile) but you will never know what any of the pumpkins will turn out like. ie. Some will look just like another Prizewinner(very few), some will resemble the mother, the father and a host of varied combination. The bottom line is if you want to grow Prizewinners you will have to bite the bullet and pay those high seed prices. OR, take a few years and start some crossing of your own until you reach a desired and duplicatible cross(:^}>
