hmmm.....wonder what he wants with the seeds? it may be of your benefit to close the market since you are the only one that grows 300 lb pumpkins

you can sell the pumpkin, but not the seeds,,,howard dill has a patten on all giant pumpkin and squash seeds,,,so sell the pumpkin for $100.00,,,if the guy don't dry the seeds right they will not work anyway,,,take the money and run my friend,,,

I say' if you sell it then you have more money next season for fertilizer, seaweed, water ect. AND momma will think you are profiting from your endevor! Give her the easy cash to buy a new dress and then your in the good graces :)-

Howard Dill has a "patten" on all pumkin seeds? I don't think so.By the way,ask Howard Dill where he got his seed from so many years ago.Do you think that in one mans life time he can bread 1200 pound pumkins from little ole jack-a-lantern seeds? I don't think so.

Bobby,
Howard Dill does indeed have a patent on the Atlantic Giant seeds. I think I can safely say that 97% of the Giant pumpkins grown today are derived from Howard Dill's P.V.P. protected crosses. He spent a lot of years perfecting this variety! Don't "dis" the KING OF GIANT PUMPKINS! He is a true gentleman! If it weren't for him (and your Momma), you wouldn't be on this site! kilr

kept the pumpkin it is loaded with big seed, the seed just cost to much, there were around 350 seed,if it cost 20.00 to get around 7 seed from a 400 to 500 pound pumpkin, the seeds are worth more than 100 dollars.
