First off Scott, I'd like to say how sorry I am that you lost that great pumpkin. My loss wasn't as significant as yours, but it really hurt. I lost Tank to rot yesterday. Was at 390.8 lbs. I knew something was wrong for quite a while. Long story short, I have an open pollinated (est aug. 15th)pumpkin on my 922.5 Emmons plant. How about a friendly late season competion between "Kevlar" (Tanks sister) and your 723 pumpkin. A race to 600lbs!!!!? What you think bud???? I thought it might be fun and put a litte excitement into whats left of this crazy season.

Hey gents I have lost most everything and am sitting on a bunch of dieing plants. I have one that the bees did for me around 8/13 and would like to get in on race to get one to size. If you don't mind. I'm still a rookie so unless you both lose yours nether of you will be last:) If not thats ok to. I'll post a pic of the pkn.

i only did a circumference........27"......my measurement yesterday was actually 23.5, not 24.......so looks like im only getting 3.5" a day so far.....better start with the fert! LOL
