I was curious, can powdery mildew infect and kill a pumpkin too? I have some PM, been spraying, seems to slow it down but not take it away. I started a water bleach wash for my pumpkin this week, it's very healthy and looking good. Do I need to concern myself with losing it to PM, or does it just get the plant? And will a pumpkin turn more orange in the sun when it's done, I want to get it as orange as possible, supposed to be from a very orange pumpkin. And last, I have these oily drops ont he stem end of my pumpkin, almost looks like tree sap. I have no clue what it is. Anyone know about this? Thanks, Jim
