Is shade cloth, 73% shade, enough to cover a pumpkin? I have noticed some covering at night too. Is this necessary? Mary

In the past I've just used old bedsheets with success, If you have noticed someone covering them up in Northern Ohio this past week it's because of the cooler nights ( I've covered mine also) you want to try to keep them warmer on those 45 degree nights.
