Went out to visit my patch this afternoon and about 50 tiny birds all over the place flew out of my garden. They were all in between and under the vines. Has anyone else experienced this?

No, but it sounds good! They are probably after BUGS! Gotta love those birds! I am a great fan of birds and spiders. Unfortunately, so is my cat... Patience

Not that many but I have seen small wrens or sparrows, whatever the local year-round bird is, pecking at open male flower petals this year.

I've got the birds but I'm not sure its good. I've got a pumpkin named Sparrow because the birds took a chunk out of the top of it when it was about 5 days old. After that they havn't seemed to bother the pumpkin but the birds are thick.

I think the birds are a good thing, they eat bugs all day in the garden and the patch. I have noticed when I spray for the no-c-um-leafmunchers, the birds leave and don't come back until I have watered a few times.H-K-J <;-)
